  5.    ELCAD is intended primarily for the electronic hobbyist or tinkerer.
  6. Although, it will save an electronic engineer a lot of time in
  7. calculations, too. ELCAD can be used to compute resistance, wattage,
  8. capacitance, inductance, filter capacitance, timing circuits, transistor
  9. circuits, heatsinks, and a host of other things. ELCAD is very
  10. straightforward and easy to use (it is all menu driven). Just type ELCAD
  11. and hit return (or enter), explore it for a short time and you will see
  12. how useful and easy it is to use (no instructions are needed).

  14.    This program was written as an exercise, to become familiar with the
  15. tools of programming. It has been run on XT's, AT's and 486's and with
  16. CGA, EGA and VGA monitors. After using this program in my design work,
  17. it dawned on me that probably many other people would find this program
  18. very useful too. CGA is in black and white only (better resolution).

  20.    This is a SHAREWARE program. As time goes on, I will be adding
  21. more features to it. All the features work. Register ($26 check,
